Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. To participate, post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

The only new photo I have this week is a picture of one of my colleagues who fell asleep on the drive to the airport Wednesday; it’s funny, but it seems unfair to post it here. Instead, this gives me an excuse to look through my old photos and find something fun.

These pics are from a trip I took a few years ago for a friend’s wedding. I bet I don’t even have to tell you the location!

Come on - you know where this is!

Lucky me -- I got sunshine in Seattle!

How lovely is that market!? Brick-lined streets are the coolest.

Sunshine and beautiful blue skies. Looks like it was a good day to visit the market.

I adore Seattle…I’ve visited about four times over the years. My favorite trip was in the 1970s, when we spent Fourth of July there and watched the fireworks over Puget Sound.

Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.

Love the balconies with the flowers and umbrellas. I was in Seattle once a long time ago, but don’t remember the brick-lined street. Guess it was winter and we didn’t get around a lot. Is there still a floating bridge over a river or bay?

  11. Comment by Mary:

I’ve never been – but I’d like to visit Seattle someday.

Even the Australian knows where this is! Sadly I haven’t been there for about 20 years.
