Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. To participate, post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

I didn’t take a single picture this week! It’s been pretty busy here around the Shelves, so I think I’m going to share some pics I took on my birthday trip to Paris. I always say that I never take pictures of monuments when I travel – everyone knows what the Eiffel Tower looks like, right? But sometimes, you get to see something from a whole new angle…

WOW, that is one fabulous photo of the tower. You should try to sell that to a travel magazine.

That is a really striking photo. I love the angle, and the light, and all those intersecting bits of metal. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/BIJkg

That is really pretty! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a photo of it from that perspective.

Wow! A different take on the Eiffel Tower! This photo is fantastic and I agree … you could submit this to Nat’l Geo as one of your vacation shots …

I’m having a birthday trip to Paris this year, and hope to see that exact view! I’ve seen it in daytime, but not up close at night. Lovely pic, thanks for choosing it.
