This past week I was in Cincinnati for work. We were out for lunch in one of the smaller neighborhoods (I can’t for the life of me remember which one) and I noticed squirrels!
They reminded me of the pigs I saw in downtown Cincinnati back in June…
I love this sort of street art! Here in Cleveland, we have guitars. I really should get out and take some photos of them to share.

And here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the Stampede City, we have cows. But squirrels, pigs and guitars are exquisite too.

I like the pig! I’m a big fan of street art as well – even if it is not always to my taste, it brightens the streetscene and makes people think. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/xnBo7

My sister (way older than me) moved to Ripley, Ohio which is about an hour from Cincinnati, after she got married. When I was a kid I’d go stay with her for a few weeks in the summer and they’d take us to Cincinnati for the Red’s games and to sight see. It’s an awesome place! Love the squirrels!

Those are both so much fun! Most of our street art around here is unidentifiable modern art…these look much cuter!

Both so pretty and whimsical!

So fun! They have Hokies in Blacksburg and peanuts in Dothan, but I don’t know of anything like that around here.

Our street art includes painted power boxes, but I saw bronze pigs in Adelaide when I was there last year – not as colourful as yours…they were lined up to get to one of the bins in the mall!!

I’ve just been going through everyone’s posts and discovered that Marg has actually taken a photo of the Adelaide pigs here – http://www.theintrepidreader.com/2013/01/saturday-snapshot-to-adelaide-and-back.html

Quite whimsical. One of my neighbors purchased one of the cows displayed in downtown Chicago some years back. She decorates it for all the holidays?? Here’s my Sat Snap: http://lore-eleven.blogspot.com/2013/01/frosty-etchings.html

Those are both so cute. I wish our town had something like that.

I really like the painting on the squirrel, but think they got the face shape wrong. I saw painted cows in Melbourne recently- they’re fun and liven up a city.
