Wow – it has been ages since I have been home on a Tuesday and able to post a Teaser!  And this is a great week for it.  I am reading one of the funniest books I have read in ages – The Bucolic Plague: From Drag Queen to Goat Farmer by Josh Kilmer-Purcell.  It’s about a gay couple from Manhattan who buy a lovely old mansion in New England and become goat farmers.  It’s a little Green Acres meets Sex and the City with a bit of Martha Stewart thrown in for good measure.  Josh is one seriously funny guy.  There is a ton of good material for teasers!

In the Teaser I finally decided on, Josh is putting in their first garden.  The old pasture he is digging up is full of bones and rocks, and he wonders about their origin:

For all I knew, I could just as easily be desecrating an old slave burial plot.  If that was the case, I prayed they were gaining some comfort in watching the plantation master sweat his own ass off with bleeding shins.

I can’t wait to review this one!  I am really enjoying it.
