Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. To participate, post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
Last weekend, a good friend and I went to Lola Bistro for dinner. Now, I’ve lived around here for a while — we’ve been eating at Lola since it was over in Tremont, the location that is now Lolita (before the whole car-through-the-front-window thing). So we’ve been letting Michael Symon cook for us since before he was famous, before he was an Iron Chef – back when he was just a guy with a crazy laugh and a pig tattoo.
The tasting menu at Lola is always something special. The food was fabulous, the service was fabulous and Himself was in the house! (Not cooking, just entertaining some friends.) It made me wish I could do a better job of taking photos…
There was so much more great food! If only you could taste it through the screen!
