I came across this little gem over on J. Kaye’s Book Blog. I hate having to type in some meaningless combination of letters to post a comment somewhere. I especially hate it when the letters are some swirly italic type and I end up having to make 2 or 3 attempts to figure it out. And I am embarassed to say that, since I never set up verification on my blog, I thought I didn’t have it.

So, my apologies to folks who grumbled and struggled on my blog with this. I hope that other folks will check their blogs and make it easier for their readers to comment. I don’t expect to be slammed with spam posts, but if I get them, I’ll delete them. It’s a small price to pay to encourage others to do as I have done and Kill Word Verification!
