Teaser Tuesdays

Okay, I know when we talked about memes last week I said I was only doing one and that was enough. Well, I might have been wrong. Teaser Tuesdays is just too much fun to pass up. Here’s how it works:

? Grab your current read.
? Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
? You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
? Please avoid spoilers!

So, here are my sentences for today, from my current book, Confessions of a Contractor

She was a rust-bucket on her last legs, no doubt about that, but I couldn’t bring myself to part with her. She was an old friend who never let me down on a single job, and now she was in the hands of someone else.” Page 92.

Want to know who “she” is? Check out the comments!
