I took these photos on my last trip to Los Angeles. I had a little F2F with some online friends down in Little Tokyo, where we ate Korean BBQ and bought Japanese souvenirs. It’s one of my favorite parts of town. There was a tea festival, an anime contest — lots of young people dressed in amazing costumes — and the Tanabata Festival all going on. The streets were filled with women in traditional (and not so traditional) kimono, as well as men in traditional clothing and hats.
