Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. To participate, post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
This week, a few more pics from Seattle. It’s a lovely city, full of culture and great food and art. The one downside that I always hear about is the dreary weather. Funny thing, though: every time I’ve been there, the weather has been gorgeous. Have a look at these pics that I took out on the water:
The ferris wheel is new since my last trip. We rode the Great Wheel just at sunset and let me tell you that for a cheesy tourist attraction, it’s pretty cool. Really great views, but no sense in trying to take pictures through smudged windows.
Gorgeous art deco buildings — in the large version, the blue of the sky almost matches the color of the building on the left, making it look almost transparent.
And a fun bit of street art. This is the only photo where the sun isn’t shining, probably because it was about 1:30 am.
