Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. To participate, post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
This week, I am doing what a lot of you are doing — getting ready for Christmas. Whatever holidays you are celebrating, this is a festive time of year. Today, I am digging through boxes of ornaments, making plans for some decorating, and I thought I would share some old photos of my favorites…
You may have noticed that my tree is white. I have to admit that I hate fake trees, but unfortunately, I’m allergic to pine. The last year I had a real tree, by the time I got the lights on I was covered in hives and having trouble breathing! Clearly, that was going to be the last live tree, but I decided that if I had to have a fake tree, I was going to have a really fake tree. I have to say that I love this white tree far more than I thought I would.
