Hello from Key West! I am taking an actual vacation this week and loving every minute of it. Right now, I am hiding in my cool, shady hotel room (check back on Saturday for some pics) and doing a little catch-up.

I owe big apologies to two folks, Laura Carroll and Dorothy Thompson. Dorothy has steered some great guest posts my way in the past, but for some reason, this one did not post. Like a lot of folks, my website is a side project and my real job has been kicking my butt lately, and I didn’t realize that the post never posted — and when I did, I didn’t have a chance t fix it. So, I am using a little of my precious Key West time to take care of it all. What’s worse is that this is a post I’m really interested in — I think most women want to “have it all” but for me, like a lot of other women I know, “all” does not mean kids. Not a chance.

So, check back this evening for a postponed guest post and in the meantime, enjoy your Labor Day (or Labour Day, for my Canadian pals)!
