Saturday Snapshot: Seattle in the Sunshine

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. To participate, post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please donโ€™t post random photos that you find online.

I was hoping to have some pics from our company picnic to post today, but it was a bit dark and besides, you wouldn’t know any of those people anyway! I decided instead to share some photos I took on my last trip to Seattle. I spent a wonderful, sunny day exploring the Space Needle and the Science Fiction Museum. The SciFi Museum is such a great building to photograph — the shiny, undulating walls give you all sorts of great angles and perspectives.

Be sure to click on the photos to see them full size.

I’ve never been to Seattle, my husband went there for business last year but the rest of the family had work and school and stayed home. It seems like a neat place! We used to live in Las Vegas and I miss how big things were there. Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye for an interesting perspective shot!

I’ve been to the Space Needle, but don’t remember the sci-fi museum. Either I went there prior to its being built or I wasn’t paying close attention (which is a distinct possibility since I was a teenager at the time).

Awesome picture! I want to see Seattle one day. My husband has been on business, and I’ve lived in Vancouver, but never got to Seattle. Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow, that SciFi Museum is great! Love the curves. And I’ve always enjoyed the Space Needle. The first time I saw it was during the World’s Fair in the sixties. Then I saw it again in 1973…and a few more times since. I love Seattle!

Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.

What a great building. I’ve been to Seattle, but not for 20+ years. I don’t think that museum was there then. At least I don’t remember it.

There’s a science fiction museum? And I didn’t know about it? Now I have to go to Seattle and visit. That is the coolest looking building and what a great shot of the space needle. So… scifi-ish.

Cool building. It has been awhile since I have been to Seattle as well and I don’t remember that building either. Time to plan another trip!

The word that comes to mind when I look at the scifi museum is fluid. Great shots!

    Ahhhh — Seattle.
See, if I was there I would have tried my darned-est to get to the original Starbucks in the Pike Place Market.
I am a MAJOR Starbucks fan and aficionado.
