Saturday Snapshot!

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. To participate, post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Last week, I was in our facility in Aberdeen, Scotland conducting some training. The weather was terrible — when it wasn’t pouring down rain, it was drizzly and gray — and I didn’t get a chance to do much sight-seeing. However, I was able to take a few pics downtown of the city streets. I love city streets in Europe; the mix of old, historic buildings and new construction is very cool.

This is the inside of the Union Square train station in downtown Aberdeen:

Now, this looks like a fun place for a pint:

And the bright-white facade of Marischal College:

These are wonderful photos… I’ve been to Scotland, but not Aberdeen. Seems like it’s a city that is both historical and modern at the same time.
